The holiday season always brings out the crazy in people. Halloween gives guys the chance to dress up like women and women to barely dress at all. With Christmas comes the surfacing of the Ugly Christmas Sweater and Winter pajama parties. Let the festivities begin.

This Saturday offers up you nutty kids a couple great events where you can show off those awesome past Christmas gifts that you wouldn’t be caught dead in any other day of the year.

Silver Moon Brewing is holding down their official holiday party this Saturday, beginning at 9pm. It’s an Ugly Christmas Sweater theme which is, from what I’ve seen, Bend’s favorite kind of holiday party. Rock your ugliest, gaudiest Christmas knit and dance to the tunes provided by MC Mystic. Also, bring down a ‘White Elephant” gift to exchange, steal, and pilage from your fellow party-goers.

Directly across the street from the Moon, Midtown Music Hall’s ‘The Annex’ is also hosting a fun holiday event. It’s the Winter Wonderland Pajama Party, beginning at 8pm. They’re throwing up their holiday decorations and inviting everybody down to celebrate the Winter Solstice in their best nighttime wear. There’s going to be prizes for best outfit, lot of great music, and a bunch of people in the Christmas spirit. A perfect mix.

Silver Moon Brewing is located at 24 NW Greenwood Ave while The Annex is located across the street at 51 NW Greenwood.
