Chicks with Picks. November 27th at 5pm
Friday after Turkey Day, four female-fronted bands are getting together to help raise money for a local charity. They call it Chicks With Picks. Pretty catchy.
The benefit concert is to raise money for Saving Grace, a local women’s violence support organization. Since 1977, Saving Grace has provided support and services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, date rape and stalking.
The gig is on November 27th from 5-9pm at Silver Moon Brewing. Performers include The Royal Fiasco, Broken Down Guitars, The Sofa Kings, and Shireen Amini. Each band will perform original music with a special collaboration at the end to cap the night off.
