I live this every morning.

So, my friend Darian came over again the other night with another new video to show me.

I wasn’t really in the mood for it. Like I’ve said before, she has a tendancy to send me into a YouTube coma. Everybody’s got that friend who, given the opportunity, will show you every “funny” video every uploaded to the social website giant.

Ok… Now, don’t judge me.

My friend Darian (I’ve told you about her before… She’s the one that comes over and takes me to the point of  ”YouTube Over-Dose.”) came by the other day and showed me this video. Yeah, a cat video.

Before you label this one as just another hokey cat video, let me be clear about one thing; it is just another hokey cat video… but it’s funny.

This little girl opens up a picture book of cats and freestyles her way through it, giving each of the cats a backstory. She’s way young, but has a quick sense about her.  Continue Reading

Bill Burr: One of my favorites

A nationally syndicated radio program called ‘The Opie and Anthony Show’ has an annual traveling event called The Virus Tour. It’s a lot of drinking, music, comedy, etc.

Last year’s show featured some amazing comedians; Mike Birbiglia, Jimmy Shubert, Bill Burr and others. The crowd of 8,000 Philadelphians were drunk and rowdy, booing the two first comedians off stage. Burr stood backstage listening and figured he’s go for broke, refusing to end it early.

While on my tour through Europe...

A few weeks ago I rolled into the KQAK studios to do a live segment and morning DJ Jeffrey Brian Nelson motioned me into his booth. It can almost be guaranteed that when I come into the studio, Jeff will have a funny new video to show me while the rest of the city listens to Steve Miller Band, or something.

This time he had one of the funniest things I’ve seen loaded up and ready to go, awaiting my arrival. Check it out. It’s about 7 minutes long, but it’s great the whole time. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what she’ll say next. I love it. Continue Reading
