I have a certain skill set that makes me very dangerous to people like you.
A movie that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.
When I first saw the trailer on TV, I was hooked. It was pretty intense, and it made Liam Neeson sound like a badass.

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence, disturbing thematic material, sexual content, some drug references and language. |
| Starring: |
Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace |

The perfect weekend movie |
|
The film is about Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) who was a ‘Preventer’ in a special government agency. His work kept him away from his family, which led to the divorce from his wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) and the strained relationship with his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace).

 Rourke's best performace.
There are movies that show the good in people with the conciliatory ending, and there are the films that show the exact opposite. This film is the latter.
I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Was it going to be the holy grail of wrestling movies, another hack job love story, or something different? Oh. It would be something much, much different.
| Rating: |
Rated R for violence, sexuality/nudity, language and some drug use. |

Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, Todd Barry |

Watch it ’cause Stone Cold said so! |

The story follows 80’s wrestling star Randy ”The Ram” Robinson (Mickey Rourke) as he works the small town circuit, trying to hold on to the only thing he’s ever known. At the height of his career he had tons of money, his own action (more…)

- Get ready for what? A nap?
I think Oliver Stone gave this movie an appropriate name. W. I’ve got a few ideas of what “W” stands for: Waste of Time, What is This Mess?, or Who Financed this Bag of Feces? One of those would work just fine.
| Rating: |
Rated PG-13 for language including sexual references, some alcohol abuse, smoking and brief disturbing war images. |

Josh Brolin, Elizebeth Banks, James Cromwell, Richard Dreyfuss |

‘W’alk right past it. |

I came into this film with a clear, open mind. I wanted to view this movie as just that, a movie. To take out the politics and the history and watch this through unbiased eyes. Here’s my unbiased review. This movie sucks. But, it’s complicated.
Almost everything about this movie screams greatness. The cinematography is crisp, angular, and imaginative. The use of lighting carries an emotional burden that allows you to dive into the mind of (more…)

30 days, $1100, For an Ordinary Guy to Get a Date with Drew Barrymore
This is one of those films that takes a couple certain viewer characteristics in order to really enjoy it; you must love documentary-style movies and its required you’ve been in the situation to have had something you’ve wanted so bad you would go to the ends of the Earth to get it. If this is you, you’re going to love this movie.
| Rating: |
Rated PG for thematic elements &language. |
| Starring: |
Drew Barrymore, Brian Herzlinger, John August |
| Director: |
Joe Gunn, Brian Herzlinger |

I Say Watch It! |

First off, what a great concept for a documentary. Most docs are created with an informative plot about a subject and a driving story line to support it. My Date with Drew takes this standard even further by supplying a great back story and an entertaining path to an ultimate result.
The story begins with the ever-challenged Brian Herzlinger, a New York native who’s moved to Los Angeles to make it big and realize his Hollywood dream. As you can guess, life in the Sunshine State doesn’t (more…)

My TV is cheaper than owning a Van Gogh
Renowned graphic novel artist Frank Miller has been creating his unique illustrations since 1978, where he received his first published work in Gold Key Comics’ licensed TV-series comic book The Twilight Zone #84.
Since then he has gone on to illustrate some of the most recognized super heroes such as Batman:The Dark Knight Returns, Daredevil, and Wolverine. But what has really brought his name to the public eye are his movies Sin City and 300.
Miller at first refused to have his graphic novels adapted for the screen, until he was approached by Robert Rodriguez who made a short film from one of the Sin City stories. Miller loved the film and then approved a full length version called Sin City. (more…)
