Time for our third special guest comedian announcement for the 2010 Bend Comedy Competition, coming April 14-17, 2010.

National headlining comedian Morgan Preston will be appearing to perform at the stand-up comedy competition that pits 16 stand-up comics against eachother to fight it out on stage for the top prize.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been announcing a special guest line-up that would rival any other comedy competition in the country. So far the list includes “King of Queens” Jimmy Shubert, from “My Name is Earl” Billy Gardell, and now the brilliant Morgan Preston.

Preston, who’s been on the comedic mic for over 22 years, recently returned from his national comedy tour “Weapon’s Grade Cynisism.” The tour took him from Seattle, Washington to New York, covering 24 states in 3 weeks. Rooms were sold out, drinks were flowing, and the crowd was falling to the ground. Comedy mission accomplished.

He’s also busy on the production side of things. While working on several television development deals, Preston was an Executive Producer on Shubert’s DVD special “Alive and Kickin” which was just named one of the 10 best stand-up comedy DVDs of 2009 by Punchline Magazine.

Known in comedic circles as one of the hardest working comedians in the industry, Preston is currently getting ready to set out on another tour, is in production on his own 1-hour comedy special, and is co-writing a full-feature movie due to wrap up this spring.
